Investigations of induced far infrared profiles of Br2/CCl4 liquid mixtures are reported. The absorption spectra are analysed using two different analytical approaches (the “Mori” and the “Oxtoby-Cell” model). The “Oxtoby-Cell” model could be successfully applied only for the diluted mixtures. The model parameters from both approaches reveal evidence of stronger intermolecular interactions, when bromine is added to pure CCl4. The |
