Tisbe holothuriae Humes were collected from the Saronicos Gulf (Greece) and cultured under laboratory conditions. Dry weight, protein, lipid, carbohydrate and RNAwere determined for various life stages by means of a micro-analytical scheme. In adult females without egg sacs, the proportion of protein, lipid, carbohydrate and RNA (as a percentage of dry weight) was 71.2, 9.7, 2.3 and 1.0, respectively. |
