dc.description.abstract	Το Teucrium polium L. subsp. capitatum (L.), είναι ένας αειθαλής, πολυετής, φρυγανώδης θάμνος. Θεωρείται φαρμακευτικό φυτό και έχει μελετηθεί εκτενώς για τις βιολογικές του ιδιότητες. Στην παρούσα εργασία διερευνήθηκαν η ανατομία και ιστοχημεία των φύλλων του με τεχνικές μικροσκοπίας και εξετάστηκε το ενδεχόμενο να παρουσιάζει εποχικό διμορφισμό ή πολυμορφισμό. Επίσης, αναλύθηκαν τα αιθέρια έλαια του φυτού την εποχή της άνθισης με αέρια χρωματογραφία.	el
dc.description.abstract	Teucrium polium L., is an evergreen, perennial phryganic subshrub. It is considered to be a medicinal herb and has been extensively investigated for its biological properties. In this study, microscopy techniques along with histochemical tests were employed for the investigation of the leaf of this Mediterranean shrub and asses the possibility that this plant shows seasonal dimorphism or polymorphism. Also, the essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography on the plant's bloom time/ at the stage of flowering.	el
